PU takes action against students for violating discipline


LAHORE: (Friday, March 07, 2025): Taking action against elements involved in disciplinary violations, riots and quarrels, the Punjab University administration has rusticated five students for one academic year and suspended two students for 14 days. The disciplinary committee has rusticated Muhammad Rehan Ali Waheed, Muhammad Ali, Jawad Zahoor, Salman Arshad and Muhammad Mubashir Akhtar for one academic year. While Muhammad Danish Arshad and Muhammad Anas Ramzan have been suspended for 14 days, they were also instructed to submit their affidavits to the concerned dean. They will also undergo a probation period of six months upon their reinstatement. PU spokesperson said that on the instructions of Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ali, indiscriminate action will continue against students guilty of disciplinary violations.
