Visiting faculty is required at the Department of Soil Sciences to teach in the following Program
M.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture (Soil Science)
B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture (Soil Science)
in following subjects;
1. Soil Chemistry
2. Instrumentation & Lab. techniques
3. Soil Genesis & Morphology
4. Municipal And Agro Waste Management
5. Prep. Of Research Projects and Sci. Writing
6. Trace Elements in Agriculture
7. Soil-Water-Plant-Relationship
8. Mathematics of Soil Science
9. Carbon Sequestration in Soil
10. Env. Pollution & Management
11. Soil fertility and plant nutrition
12. Soil mineralogy
13. Advanced Soil Physics
14. Soil classification
15. Soil Survey and Land Evaluation
16. Land degradation and management |
| Requirement |
The applicant must have M.Phil./ PhD in relevant subject or equivalent qualification or relevant professional qualification from an HEC recognized institution.
After appointment, the visiting faculty shall be responsible for teaching allocated course as per semester rules of University of the Punjab, within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the Department of Soil Science, as well as compiling, administering and grading examinations. |
