LAHORE: (Monday, October 11, 2021): Punjab University Center for Clinical Psychology (CCP) organized an awareness walk on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. The rally from Center for Clinical Psychology to Vice Chancellor Punjab University Office was attended by the VC Prof Niaz Ahmed, Director CCP Dr Saima Dawood, faculty members, students and special children. On this occasion, Prof Niaz Ahmed said that taking care of mental well being along with physical health was also very important. He said that mentally healthy people can perform better. He said that mental stress caused a lot of problems in our everyday lives. Dr Saima Dawood said that in case of mental health issues, one should not hesitate to seek guidance and counseling from a psychiatrist as treatment of mental illnesses was as important as of physical illnesses.
