LAHORE: (Friday, September 03, 2021): Eminent Hurriyat leader late Syed Ali Gillani’s funeral prayer was offered in absentia at Jamia Mosque of Punjab University after Juma prayer. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad, thousands of students, teachers and employees participated in the funeral prayer. The participants paid tribute to the struggle of Syed Ali Gillani for freedom of Occupied Kashmir from Indian clutches. PU VC Prof Niaz Ahmad said that Syed Ali Gillani made great sacrifices for the freedom of Kashmir. He said that Mr Gillani’s voice was a true representation of the Kashmiris. He said that we would make efforts to fulfill his dream of freedom.
